Packaging
Dimitris Ioan. Liapakis moving company handles the packaging of all home appliances, furniture, electrical devices, clothes, glassware, books, etc. We use the most appropriate materials for a safe removal. The packaging of the appliances is separated in two general categories: the packaging of the bulky items including furniture and electrical devices and the packaging of the small items including glassware, clothes and books.
Furniture Packaging
- 1. Table before
- 2. Table after
- 3. Show Case before
- 4. Show case after
Special protection angles are entered in the edges of bulky furniture in order to strengthen the packaging.
Then, the whole furniture is packaged with double or triple layers of aero plastics (puffs), paper puffs, or corrugated paper depending on the nature of the furniture.
Using this way of packaging we avoid furniture damages no matter how bulky and heavy they are. The excellent packaging along with the experienced and polite personnel guarantees a problem free appliance removal.
Examples of our packaging services are shown in the adjoining photos. In photos 1, 2 a living room showcase before and after packaging. In photos 3,2 a bulky dining table before and after packaging.
Item Packaging

We package clothes, glassware, books, cd’s, kitchenware, decorative items and any sort of small items, with thoroughness and by using the most appropriate materials.
Your glassware and decorative items remain untouched as they’re suitable placed in enriched carton boxes wrapped with white sheets of thick paper or aero plastics. The empty spaces in between packages of glassware are filled with small pieces of polystyrene for better stability.
Clothes are placed in special pre-fabricated carton boxes (paper closets). In that way dresses, suits, and coats are transferred clean and not crinkled. In the adjoining photos 1,2 you can see the materials we use for glassware and in photos 3,4 the paper closets and the clothes’ placement.
